Important Note
These covers are designed to accommodate the factory glass or aftermarket vented windows in these locations on the van. They are designed to be oversized and grab onto the bare metal frame pocket around the window. Rear quarter windows have a built in T-vent split so they can store in place in the window frame when not in use and also fold sideways for better use with AMA, Van Windows Direct or other branded sliding vented windows. Middle windows do not have a T-vent split.
These covers are designed to work with bare metal vans (cargo vans), NOT with custom framed window boxes or other unique frames/builds/trims in the van.
PASSENGER VANS:
Magnets don't stick to plastic. The trim looks nice but it is a bit of a pain to work with for magnetic window covers. VanEssential builds oversized magnets into these window covers to help get the magnets to hold through the plastic trim and onto the metal body frame behind it. Each van year and trim style is slightly different, but this product is designed to be compatible with every model.
If you are taking off the plastic trim to insulate before putting it back on, you can purchase the VanEssential 11 pack spare magnets kit and glue them into place behind the trim in the correct locations relevant to the window cover. This increases the magnetic strength for the cover to hold to the metal body frame behind the trim.
